Ocean Yoga

Do you enjoy exercising outdoors, and being at the beach? Then you’ll love my Ocean Yoga sessions which I’ve been running on Hove Lawns since 2009. On dry, sunny days the seafront is the perfect place to flow through some Outdoor Yoga, breathing in the fresh air, enjoying ocean views, the sound of the gulls, appreciating the natural surroundings and ambience, all resulting in a feeling of bliss and well-being.

Private Groups & Bespoke Events

Whether you’re living locally, visiting Brighton & Hove and looking for a fun, holistic and uplifting activity for a small gathering or get-together, Corporate Team Building day, Hen Do or Special Event do get in touch with your dates and details. I’m continuing to host private small-group “socially-distanced” Ocean Yoga sessions into Autumn 2020. Please note, group numbers are still capped at five. All bookings are confirmed upon payment, see T&Cs on my FAQs page. Text/call me on: 07960 023871 or email to arrange it online.

Hove Lawns Yoga

Sessions on Hove Lawns include stretching/warm-up’s, gentle, yet powerful, Hatha Yoga asanas and Dru Yoga sequences, pranayama (cleansing breathing techniques) and relaxation, all to the backdrop of the ocean and the sounds of the seaside. A grounding, earthy outdoor experience.

Seashore Yoga

Seashore Yoga includes Mindfulness, Meditation and Asana practice up close to the ocean (when the tide is low), part feet in water and part feet on pebbles/mat which brings a curious and new experience to practising Yoga. Away from the secure ground of the Earth we draw on the water/sea elements for balancing emotions and creating peace and calm.

Ocean Yoga was filmed for Visit Britain’s “Wellness in Sussex” tourism campaign and I’ve been featured in Waitrose, Zest Magazine and the April 2020 edition of Sussex Prestige magazine.
