Personal Data Collected at the time of booking/first attendance

Some personal data is collected by Sarah, of Karmiyoga, at the time of booking or attending your first class. This is for the purposes of meeting Insurance Company criteria as well as for your health and safety at yoga. Health information is also used to tailor sessions to suit your individual needs. All information gathered by Sarah at Karmiyoga (either on paper, verbally or via an online booking process) is treated as confidential and will not be shared with a third party. It is only viewed by Sarah Dawson, as your teacher/coach.

You may update or correct any information held with Sarah by letting her know. The Insurance Company request that Sarah keeps a record of customer’s data and registrations for seven years after your last class with her. If you wish to alter any of your data, review how it is used or wish to request its return to you, please contact Sarah Dawson: or 07960 023871. You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information to Sarah of Karmiyoga, in which case Karmiyoga may not be able to provide certain services to you.

How your Contact Information is used

When booking a class, either online, on paper, or via text, you are agreeing to either your email and/or phone number being used by Sarah of Karmiyoga to inform you of class changes, service updates directly relating to the service you have booked.

Direct marketing emails informing you of new, future or alternative services I am providing are sent through a secure permission-based email system called Mailpoet which is powered by Healthhosts, the provider of this website.

Karmiyoga Mobile Phone List

Sarah may, from time to time, use your phone number to contact you about new course information, discounts and promos available, class timetabling changes or to inform you of Pop Up Outdoor Yoga classes on Hove seafront, only if you have provided your number. If you no longer wish to be contacted this way, please RSVP to the next message with OPT OUT and you will be removed from the telephone Yoga update database.
